Summary

Upon doing a space export to HTML, the pages in the HTML files display more attachments on their lists than what is actually uploaded to them.

Diagnosis

Check the Attachments part of the page in the HTML file and compare it with the number displayed in the Attachments button of the page itself (ellipsis at the top-right > Attachments). The page should have fewer attachments than the  HTML file.

Cause

The HTML files display more attachments than the value in the pages because the export includes the deleted attachments that are still in the trash of the space until they are purged. There is a suggestion in place to change this this behavior:

Solution

As a space administrator, access the trash of the space and purge them:

  1. Tap Space settings on the sidebar.
  2. Look for Content Tools and select the Trash tab.
  3. On the right side of the attachment's name, tap the Purge option and confirm it.

(info) On the new space administration experience, the Trash option will be found under the Manage pages panel from the Space settings.
