Symptoms

The page is not correctly saved, and it prevents users from editing or removing it. When looking for the page in Confluence, its title appears as $webwork.htmlEncode($page.title). When looking for the page on the database, the title value is empty.

Cause

The page was not saved correctly and it seems that there is something wrong with the record holding the page data, in the database. This can happen due to a variety of different macro combinations.
