Getting "Could not load child pages" Error when Trying to View Child Pages

Symptoms

When you are tring to view child pages of a page, there is none displayed but an error:

Could not load child pages

Cause

This is caused by either a corrupted index or an ancestor table.

Resolution

  1. Reindex from scratch
  2. Clear plugins cache directories
  3. Rebuild Confluence Ancestor Table
