'java.io.IOException No space left on device' due to disk space

User is unable to create pages, create spaces, upload attachments, or add any content to Confluence.
Confluence Server or Data Center (any version).
The following message appears in the
ERROR [DefaultQuartzScheduler_Worker-7] [org.quartz.core.JobRunShell] run Job DEFAULT.IndexQueueFlusher threw an unhandled Exception: com.atlassian.bonnie.LuceneException: com.atlassian.bonnie.LuceneException: java.io.IOException: No space left on device
This error is triggered if there is no space left in the directory which contains the Confluence Home folder.
Usually happens in large instances with a high number of pages being created.
If the directory is full and you are unable to allocate more space, you may wish to change the location of your home directory to somewhere where there is space available.
