Unable to Login to Confluence due to Inactive Application in Crowd

Symptoms

Crowd users are not able to log into Confluence. The following appears in the atlassian-confluence.log:

Cause

The Confluence application in Crowd is inactive

Resolution

  • Log in to the Crowd Administration Console.
  • Click the 'Applications' tab in the top navigation bar.

  • Ensure that the Confluence application is active
