How to log into Crowd when the number of users for the license has been exceeded
Platform notice: Server and Data Center only. This article only applies to Atlassian products on the server and data center platforms.
Problem
Cannot log into Crowd due to having too many users.
Resolution
Generate an evaluation license at https://my.atlassian.com and apply it. After reducing the number of users, reapply your Production license.
To generate the new license the Crowd ServerID is required. Its value can be found in crowd.cfg.xml:
