Symptoms

Cause

The board doesn't recognize the Epic Tag or Label for Epics that are not retrieved by the board filter.

Resolution

Include Epic project in the Board's Filter and then refresh the board page again.

    I am having this same issue, but I don't understand the resolution described here. I have tons of epic links included in this board. Is this saying I need to include each Epic Link in the query? The labels only disappear if I include "ASSIGNEE in" as part of the query. If I don't specify any assignees, I can see the epic links.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?

      Your Epics are probably not assigned to anybody. Either assign them to someone or include 'EMPTY' or null in the list of assignees.
