Summary

After upgrading Bamboo, the result of the reports generation is not showing any data from builds prior to the upgrade.

The build history exists in Bamboo database but is not showing up in the report output. In some cases the reports are completely blank regardless of the type of filter that's selected for the "Group By" or "date Filter".

There have also been scenarios that the result is blank when entering a specific date range, but shows only after upgrade data when other date filters are selected.

Environment

This issue was seen in Bamboo 5.1.3

Solution

Bamboo build results data should be optimised for search-intensive operations (e.g. reports) to work correctly.

  1. Shut down Bamboo

  2. Delete cache and index files in these folders

    * <bamboo-home>/caches/ * <bamboo-home>/index/ * <bamboo-home>/jms-store/

  3. Start Bamboo again and run a full re-index
