28 June 2011

Atlassian presents Bonfire 1.0 BETA 4. In this release, we introduce session notes, allowing you to quickly record notes, ideas, and other content as you test.

Note - A Beta release is a preliminary release leading up to the official release of Bonfire, and is not officially supported for use in a production environment.

Time extension for Beta!

Upgrading to the latest Beta for Bonfire will reset the Bonfire beta countdown clock, so you have all the time you need to play, test, and use Bonfire.

Upgrading from another beta of Bonfire?

Upgrading Bonfire is easy - simply use the Plugins manager in JIRA, and click 'upgrade' to get the latest server plugin for Bonfire. Updates to client browsers are also available, and may be updated automatically depending on the browser you are running, and the browser automatic update settings. For more information on upgrades, check out our Capture for JIRA Upgrade Guide.

Highlights of Bonfire Beta 4

Introducing Session Notes

Session notes allow you to quickly jot down ideas, questions, tasks, or anything you want as you test in your session. Enter your notes in in the Bonfire browser extension, so you never have to switch away from where you are testing.

The notes are stored in your session, so you can refer to them at any time.

Edit / Delete Test Sessions

Sessions are now manageable via the user interface. Edit the name of a session, or remove sessions you no longer need.
