'getRenderedTemplate Error occurred rendering template' when Saving a Page
Symptoms
A "Page Not Found" error occurs in the user interface, when visiting a page. The following appears in the atlassian-confluence.log:
009-03-12 07:38:51,257 ERROR [http-443-5] [confluence.util.velocity.VelocityUtils] getRenderedTemplate Error occurred rendering template: /templates/email/html/editpage-notification.vmCause
The issue is caused by the Descendent Notification Plugin.
Resolution
Either disable the Descendent Notification plugin or upgrade the plugin to the latest stable version.
