Problem

A specific Confluence or JIRA user receives regular e-mail receipts for Health Check notifications, similar to the excerpt below:

From: noreply@atlassian.com noreply@atlassian.com
Sent: 29 June 2015 04:01
To: support-healthcheck@atlassian.com; xxxxxx
Cc: xxxxxxxx
Subject: [Confluence] Receipt for health check data sent on 2015-06- 29...
Here is your copy of the health check data sent to Atlassian.
If you no longer wish to receive these reports, contact your Confluence administrator.

Cause

In previous versions of Confluence and JIRA Health Checks, Administration users were able to configure the Heath Checks to send data to support for further analysis. This method of collecting usage statistics has been removed, however on removal, the option to configure the notifications was also removed.  Unable to locate Jira server for this macro. It may be due to Application Link configuration.

Workaround

Alternatively, you may disable the HealthCheck plugin with the following steps (this is not recommended by Atlassian):

  1. Navigate to Cog Icon > Add-ons in the Confluence header.
  2. Change the filter to All Add-ons.
  3. Find for the Support Tools Plugin and disable it

This will prevent the Support Tools plugin from working. It will solve the problem, but we recommend this workaround is used as a last resort.

Resolution

Upgrade the Support Health Plugin, Support Tools Plugin and Confluence Instance Health Plugins to the most recent versions available, which includes a fix for removing those notifications.
