Symptoms

You may notice the following error message printed at the bottom of your Confluence instance:

Cause

If the footer has had licensing information removed by a modification. This error message may appear because of a third party add-on modifying the footer, a custom theme, or a modified velocity template.

Resolution

• If the problem is caused by a third party Add-on, identify which Add-on is responsible for modifying the footer.
  • You may need to enable Add-ons one at a time to determine which is the culprit.
• If using a custom theme, contact the theme's vendor for assistance

• Restore the default velocity template. You can download a default footer-content.vm
