Oracle 8i 24-hour time format

Symptoms

When an Oracle 8i database is configured to use 24-hour time as the default format, an exception may occur. One symptom is that Confluence may refuse to start after midday.

The exception looks like this:

Resolution

  1. Choose Confluence Admin > General Configuration.

  2. Set the *time format" to "HH:mm".
