Problem

When doing a search in the pagetreesearch macro, the colon ":" in ancestorIds: is encoded to %3A, as in the following screenshot:

Cause

One possible cause is the usage of normal HTTP proxy instead of AJP13.

Resolution

Ensure that Confluence is using the AJP13 protocol by adding the parameter protocol="AJP/1.3" into the <Connector ... /> tag in <confluence-install-directory>/conf/server.xml.
