Road Map Portlet Does not Display Items when Using JIRA Portlet Macro
Symptoms
When using the JIRA Issues Macro, the Roadmap portled does not display items in Confluence, but does display in JIRA.
Cause
The URLs are not encoded properly resulting in the "|" symbol being included in the URL.
Workaround
Replace the "|" symbol with %7C when using the jiraportlet macro.
For example, change the URL from:
http://jira.atlassian.com/secure/RunPortlet.jspa?portletKey=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.portlets:roadmap&days=30&maxresults=35&projectsEnt=10420_*|*_11772_*|*_11790_*|*_11881
to
http://jira.atlassian.com/secure/RunPortlet.jspa?portletKey=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.portlets:roadmap&days=30&maxresults=35&projectsEnt=10420_*%7C*_11772_*%7C*_11790_*%7C*_11881
Resolution
Upgrade to JIRA 3.13+.
Portlets have been deprecated in JIRA 4.0. Use a gadget instead.
