Widget Connector Macro displays gear icon and URL instead of expected media

Problem
After inserting a Widget Connector Macro and configuring it, it displays a Gear icon and the URL entered in the widget rather than the expected media.
Instead of the expected media, an image similar to the following displays:
Cause
If the URL given in the Widget Connector macro does not work, the macro displays an icon and the base URL of the server rather than the expected media.
Resolution
- Ensure the URL of the media displays when navigating to it directly via the URL entered in the Widget Connector Macro.
- Edit the Widget Connector Macro and enter the correct URL.
