Documentation for Crucible 3.0.x. Documentation for other versions is available too.

For Crucible reviews that are linked to JIRA issues, you can now advance their JIRA workflow from within Crucible.

In the Close Review dialog, Crucible will now display any available workflow transitions for the linked issue.

Transitioning a linked issue

To transition a linked issue:

  • In the Review Summary screen, choose Access: Review > (Summarize or Close) > Close Review. The possible transitions appear as buttons below the transition.

Notes

  • JIRA administrators can activate or deactivate JIRA issue transitions (the workflow) from the JIRA administration interface.
  • Only the transitions accessible by the user are displayed.
  • The list of available transitions only appears if the user has visibility to any available workflow transitions.

(info) This feature does not support editing fields on the issue, only setting the resolution field if required by the transition.

  • No labels

The "Notes" say Administrators can activate or deactivate JIRA Issue Transitions at a global level via the Administration interface.

Where in the Admin interface is this setting? Is it in Crucible Admin or JIRA Admin?

    1. This is done in the JIRA admin area. Please refer to Activating workflow.

Thanks for clarifying that this can be activated in JIRA admin.  I was having a hard time locating it in the Crucible Admin.
