Configuring the Mail Server to Use Gmail
Usage
You can refer to this KB when you want to configure a Gmail Account for Mail Notifications in Fisheye/Crucible.
Configuring
Go to the Administration >> Global Settings >> Server >> Mail Server >> Edit config
Configure according to your needs:
From address: your_email@gmail.com SMTP host name: smtp.gmail.com Port: 587 Use SSL/TLS: True Username: your_email@gmail.com Password: ******** |

2-step verification
Notice that if the Gmail user has 2-step verification enabled, he/she will need to generate a password for an application (in this case Fisheye/Crucible) and use this application password - not the account password. Please refer to the guide below for more information:
