The Atlassian team are proud to announce the release of GreenHopper 5.3.
GreenHopper 5.3 provides full compatibility with JIRA 4.2, taking advantage of the new JIRA keyboard shortcuts, the Operations dialog box and much more. We are also very pleased to tell you that the 'Labels' plugin (used to implement GreenHopper epics) is now bundled with JIRA, so there's no longer a need for you to install it separately.
Upgrading to GreenHopper 5.3 is free for all customers with an active GreenHopper license.

Upgrading to GreenHopper 5.3
You can download GreenHopper from the Atlassian website. If upgrading from a previous version, please read the GreenHopper 5.3 Upgrade Guide.
In addition to the comprehensive new JIRA shortcuts, GreenHopper 5.3 introduces an improved set of shortcuts and keyboard-activated dialog boxes.
To view a list of GreenHopper's keyboard shortcuts, select 'Keyboard Shortcuts' from your username dropdown at the top-right of the screen. This reveals all of GreenHopper's available keyboard shortcuts in a dialog box:
Read Using Keyboard Shortcuts for more information.
A wallboard is a type of information radiator that displays vital data about the progress of the development team. Similar to a scoreboard at a sporting event, wallboards are large, highly visible and easily understood by anyone walking by.
Traditional wallboards are made of paper or use sticky notes on a wall. Electronic wallboards are very effective since they update automatically with real-time data, ensuring that people check back regularly.
If you have installed the JIRA Wallboards Plugin, you can display a JIRA dashboard as a wallboard. And in GreenHopper 5.3, you can now create an Agile-specific wallboard in a single click!
See the GreenHopper 101 for details.
When you print a collection of cards, GreenHopper 5.3 displays a popup where you can choose:
Read Printing Issues in Card Form for more information.
By popular request, we are re-introducing the ability to display the entire card (not just its header) in the mapped colour for the card's issue type. To colour your entire cards, go to <Tools><User Preferences><General> and select 'Background Colour' (under 'Look and Feel') — see Managing your User Preferences.
The issues for GreenHopper 5.3 are shown below. To view the list in JIRA, please see here.
