As of June 1, 2015, the IDE Connector documentation will no longer be maintained by Atlassian. See https://developer.atlassian.com/blog/2015/06/discontinuing-ide-connectors-support/ for more information. We will also be making this documentation available for our open source community here: http://atlassian-docs.bitbucket.org/

The Atlassian IDE Connectors are add-ons for your integrated development environment (IDE). They allow you to work with the Atlassian applications within your IDE. Now you don't have to switch between websites, email messages and news feeds to see what's happening to your project and your code. Instead, you can see the relevant JIRA issues and Bamboo build information right there in your development environment. You can also move quickly between your IDE and your FishEye view of your source repository.

The Atlassian IDE Connectors are available for IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse and Visual Studio. Take a look at the documentation for each IDE:

  1. Atlassian Connector for IntelliJ IDEA provides IDEA IDE integration for the following Atlassian products:

    • Bamboo
    • Crucible 1.6 and above
    • JIRA 3.7 and above
    • Fisheye

It doesn't directly add anything toward Confluence development.

    1. Hi Martin,

We don't plan at the moment adding any integration with Confluence.
However if you have any interesting ideas on how such integration could look like and why it would be awesome to access Confluence from your IDE (instead of via web UI), I would love to hear it here or as an raised story at https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/PLE/.

      Thanks,
      Wojtek
