Jira Align Web links are not showing up on Jira

Summary

This article describes what’s needed in order for the Jira Align web link to appear on Jira automatically.

Solution

In order to enable the Web Links to be created on Jira, we need to enable it:

  • On Jira Align:

Under Jira Settings > Jira Setup tab > Allow Jira Align to create Jira issue web link.

  • On Jira:

Jira admin > Issues > Issue linking.

Make sure that the Issue linking is set to ON. If it's not, select Activate to enable it.

Important: If both settings are enabled and the web links are not being displayed, a possible cause is an authorization error for the connector user.
