Blank dashboard after logging in JIRA in IE8
Symptoms
When you log into JIRA using IE8, the dashboard is blank and the system is unusable.
The following appears in the webpage error details:

Cause
- JIRA is not listed as a trusted website in IE's list.
- Binary and script behaviors is not Enabled.
Resolution
- Add JIRA to IE's trusted websites list.
- Browse through Internet Options -> Security -> Custom Level -> ActiveX controls and plug-ins -> Binary and script and enabled this option.
