Symptoms

When accessing JIRA via Apache with mod_proxy, links produced by the JIRA Charting portlet points to the Tomcat port and address.

Cause

Apache mod_proxy is not configured correctly.

Resolution

The ProxyPreserveHost directive allows Tomcat to know its public hostname and port. Without this, JIRA redirects the public URL.
