JIRA Sessions Do Not Expire When Tempo Plugin is Installed

Symptoms

The login sessions to JIRA do not expire even after the configured timeout  has elapsed.

 

Diagnosis

After leaving a browser window with a JIRA issue displayed idle for more than the configured timeout, do a refresh of the page. If the user still appears to be logged-in then this article is applicable.

Cause

This is a known bug in Tempo. Please contact the Tempo Support for the exact status of the correction. 

Workaround

There are no known workarounds at the moment for this issue.
