Removing Feedback Related Errors
Symptoms
JIRA Agile operations fails with an error denoting javascript errors related to feedback.js
or issuecollector.js. Here is the error message for example :

Please try refreshing the page, or contact your administrator / Atlassian Support if the problem continues.

Cause
This error is caused by the feedback module of JIRA Agile trying to access the internet and this error appears on those JIRA instances behind a firewall without internet access. This is actually a bug that being tracked in - GHS-5502Getting issue details... STATUS and corrected in the latest releases of JIRA Agile.
Additionally, this can also be caused by the new Atlassian account functionality, as tracked under - GHS-8091Getting issue details... STATUS
Workaround
In order to resolve this, please perform the below steps:
- Open the JIRA Agile plugin configuration as described below or in the article here
- Go to Administration >> Plugins >> Manage Add-ons (older versions of Universal Plugin Manager calls it plugins)
- Locate and click on 'Atlassian JIRA Agile' (Step 1 below)
- Expand the '+' sign to show all the plugin modules (Step 2 below)
- Hover the mouse over the module 'Feedback' and click on the 'Disable' button (Step 3 below)
Note: As this is a javascript, you may need to clear your browser cache after disabling the 'Feedback' functionality.
