Symptoms
Sprints appear greyed out in JIRA Agile Planning Mode as per the example below.
As this error is within the browser, nothing appears in the atlassian-greenhopper.log.
Note, the functionality of the sprints and the board are not affected, only the appearance.
Diagnosis
The behavior is not reproducible when all add-ons are disabled except JIRA Agile.
Cause
A conflicting add-on is interfering with the rendering of the board, causing issues to be greyed out. This is tracked in GreenHopper under JSWSERVER-9730 - CSS collision with jQueryUI and has been resolved in Agile 6.3.1
Workaround
To identify the conflicting add-on, please follow the steps below:
- Disable all add-ons except for JIRA Agile, see running JIRA in a safe mode.
- Enable the add-ons one by one to identify the conflicting add-on.
- Disable the conflicting add-on temporarily or upgrade the conflicting add-on to the bug fix release.
- Upgrade Agile to a version newer than the bug fix release.
Known conflicting add-ons:
Plugin | Workaround |
---|---|
JIRA Capture/Bonfire | Upgrade to a version released after 2.6.8, for example 2.7.0.2. |
Structure | Temporarily disable the add-on until HJ-1448 is resolved. When it is resolved, upgrade to version 2.4.3 or higher. |
Table Grid Editor | Upgrade to Table Grid Editor v1.10.3. |
JIRA Teamlead Calendar | Temporarily disable the add-on. |
InProduct Translation | Temporarily disable the add-on. |
