Symptoms
- Time Tracking in JIRA is using different variable. For example:
- 'd' for day (English)
- 'j' for jour (French)
- 't' for tag (German)
- When you edit an issue and modify the time tracking field, this error message is shown
Diagnosis
- Time Format in Time Tracking Configuration is set to days instead of pretty.
- The indexing language in General Configuration is set to other languages.
- Default language in General Configuration to français (France) or Language Preference in Profile to français (France)
Workaround
Use 'd' instead of 'j' or 't'. JIRA will read and interpret it correctly.
