Custom date fields for unestimated work

In the previous release, we rolled out custom date fields for unestimated work items in a plan as a beta feature. In this release, this is no longer a beta feature — you can easily use custom date fields as the default start and end dates for unestimated work items.

See Scheduling unestimated items for more info.

Pull up the parent issues of an issue

We're now complementing childIssuesOf in JQL with parentIssuesOf in this release. Now, you can quickly view the parent issues of issues at lower hierarchy levels, such as stories. You can also skip grabbing issues of a specific level in the hierarchy, if need be.

Check out Searching for issues using Portfolio details for more info.

See all issues in a program

Ever wanted to quickly track down all the issues that belong to a program? Now you can!

We've added issuesInProgram to JQL in Jira — all you need is the unique ID of the program, and you're good to go.

See Searching for issues using Portfolio issue details to know more.
