Pull up the child issues of an issue

Currently, you can easily view the child issues of epics in Jira.

Now, using childIssuesOf in JQL, you can view the child issues of issues at higher hierarchy levels, such as initiatives. You can also skip grabbing issues of a specific level in the hierarchy, if need be.

Check out Searching for issues using Portfolio issue details for more info.

See all issues in a plan

Ever wanted to quickly track down all the issues that belong to a plan? Now you can!

We've added issuesInPlan to JQL in Jira — all you need is the unique ID of the plan, and you're good to go.

See Searching for issues using Portfolio issue details to know more.

Custom date fields for unestimated work BETA

Use custom date fields as the default start and end dates for any work items that are unestimated in a plan.

Note that this is still a beta feature, so do provide feedback by clicking on the Feedback icon on the header. See Early access features for more details.
