Symptoms

FILL IN SYMPTOM(S)

The following appears in the atlassian-fisheye.log or in the ui when adding the repository:

Expected FS format between '1' and '5'; found format '6'

Cause

This happens because of the way that SVN is providing access to the repository.

Resolution

  • Configure svnserve daemon to provide access to the repository, this way this will access SVN using network protocol.
