Environment

  • Hipchat Windows or Linux desktop app.

Diagnostic Steps

Resolution

  • Enable logging in Sending Windows/Linux Client Logs to Support
  • Reproduce the error above, and send the logs over to Hipchat Support at support.atlassian.com for further assistance.
  • Log files can be found easily at Desktop by selecting Log to File (Desktop or home) for Windows
