Purpose

Admins might need to start over the setup of Hipchat Data Center from a clean state. The following needs to be done to clean the data: 

• Re-create the Postgres database
• Flush the Redis cache
• Clean up the NFS share and unmount

However, this is not enough to re-enable the setup wizard and configure Hipchat Data Center from scratch. 

Solution

1. Re-deploy the nodes VMs again

This is cleanest approach as it ensure any potential setup problems in the nodes are completely gone. 

2. Clear the setup wizard flag file

The setup wizard is controlled by a hidden flag file that needs to be removed from all the nodes for the setup wizard to appear again: 

rm /opt/atlassian/.license/.wizard

3. Use the configuration file

It is also possible to re-Configure Hipchat Data Center using a config file.
