Problem

Unable to launch Windows 4.0 client and received the following error:

Client logs were not generated as the application failed to run.

Cause

As stated in the error message in the screen shot, Qt5Widgets.dll for Hipchat is being used by other program in the machine. This could happen if there's an installed antivirus, antispyware, or behavior Guard type of software on your machine that is inspecting on the DLL. Bitdefender, Threatfire or Norton antivirus softwares could cause this.

Workaround

1. Please be sure you are logged in to Windows from an Admin-level account
2. Temporarily disable any Antivirus, Spyware tools or alike on your machine
3. Re-launch Hipchat
