Implemented in version 2.30

  • Groovy support in post functions.
    • You can now set conditions on all Insight Post Functions.
    • You can write your own groovy script when there are no built-in post functions that meet your specific requirements.
  • Added object type ID and Object Type Attribute ID in UI now makes it easier for developers.
  • Custom Field and object references are reimplemented due to performance issues. Read below statements before upgrade.

Due to Atlassian framework limitation, we can't order the references in a way that we would like to (prior to JIRA 6.4). Reference objects are now ordered in "chunk" of 25 but the "chunk" may be unordered. We will look into this in the next release when we are focusing on improvements in user experience. But be aware, an upgrade to Insight 2.30 may cause object references (and custom field reference fields) to be unordered.

Because of this limitation, we have removed the "Both" choice in reference direction for the Insight Reference Custom Field. Any previous configuration with "Both" reference direction will be treated as "Outgoing". So make sure to think about any impact before upgrade!

For JIRA 6.4 there are ways of fixing this limitation and we will focusing on reimplement this in the next release that will only be supported from JIRA 6.4 and above.

  • Minor bugfixes and improvements

Our development team are now focusing on User Experience and if you have any feedback in what we should implement, feel free to give us your improvement requests so you are able to contribute on our next release!
