Insight 4.1 release notes
Insight Discovery
Insight Discovery enables scheduled network scanning and will import hosts and devices into Insight automatically. Insight Discovery is a separate product and is also licensed separately. You will need to run Insight v4.1 or later to run Insight Discovery.
Bug fixes and improvements
- List view and detal view in Insight UI is improved in terms of performance
- Gadgets IQL format was wrong, never worked with "<", ">" characters
- Automation delete actions fix
- Handle WindowsNT date time in LDAP report
- General Import fixes with scheduling services
- LDAP sync fix when synchronizing a large amount of data
- On schema and type delete - all the rules AND scheduled events are removed from Insight
- Minor fixes
Before upgrading to Insight 4.1
Upgrading from JIRA 2.x?
For Insight 2.x users, make sure that you upgrade to the latest version of Insight 3.x before upgrading to Insight 4.1 if you are on Insight 2.x.
This is very important for the upgrade process!
