General improvements

We've added a new automation action called Attribute value that will change an attribute of the affected object. We've also done some performance improvements on findings referenced objects which also results in faster deletion of objects containing a lot of inbound references.

Other fixes in this release

6.2.0

  • Fixes issue with api call rest/insight/1.0/customfield//basicsearch/objects?projectId= not respecting the project filtering
  • Fixes issue with Insight Custom Field showing error when filtered issue scope limited the result to 0
  • Fixes issue with no schema selected by default in object search
  • Fixes issue that limited the view of saved IQLs to 23
  • Fixes issue that caused export from object search to export object keys instead of names
  • Improved performance on various operations one being object deletion
  • Minor fixes 

Before upgrading to Insight 6.2

Upgrade from Insight 5.x or prior versions.

We strongly recommend that you review all your import configurations after you've upgraded to Insight 6 from previous versions.

If your installation of Insight is configured with an Insight Discovery import (Discovery version 1.x), you'll have to do the following after you've installed Insight 6:

  1. Download and install version 2.x of Insight Discovery from Marketplace.
  2. Navigate to your Object schema where your Insight Discovery import is configured and press Migrate configuration.
  3. Verify the migrated import configuration.

If your installation of Insight is configured with a Tempo Account import, you'll have to do the following after you've installed Insight 6:

  1. Download and install Insight Tempo Integration from Marketplace.
  2. Navigate to your Object schema where your Tempo import is configured and press Migrate configuration.
  3. Verify the migrated import configuration.
