There are 3 plugins available in JIRA Extension Page which might be able to fulfill the requirement:

Thanks for your feedback!
Is there any way I can create a report where I'll have something like
ISSUEKEY-1, Status1, Transition1, Time
ISSUEKEY-1, Status2, Transition2, Time
ISSUEKEY-1, Status1, Transition3, Time
Just the same information that we can see on the History tab, but as a report. I understand this is database query. Any hints?
JIRA Suite Utilities has almost the same!
Do you know if there's any way to query issues with JQL based on this information?
I'm wondering the same about aggregate transitions times. Does anyone know the tables to query for this?
Brian Rafferty You can use Script Runner's JQL functions for the aggregate piece. https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-AggregateExpressions
,.Luzia Mendes, if Jamie's plugin doesn't have that function, it should be easy enough to script your own without writing anything against the DB. https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-Writingyourownfunctions
Thank you, @Eddie Webb (did that work?). Script Runner is new to me, but I'll enjoy exploring it. Thanks, too, for the link to Jamie's information.

There is also a plugin named as 'Time in Status' at marketplace.
Asking the same question as in first comment, can we capture the time in status in a report.
We just want to track that whether some status transtions are being within less than a specified time e.g. 5 seconds/mins...which might be the case when users just click next..next..next.
Is there a way to exclude weekend hours from this feature?
I also need "Time Spent in A Workflow State" for a set of issues. Results of my research...
If you're using JIRA On Demand, JIRA Suite Utilities will give you per issue data that cannot be queried in JQL. If you're running JIRA on a server, there are lots of plugins that help - Time In Status and Better Excel are two that come to mind.
I'm not an expert at this, so if someone finds a way to make exporting the relevant data from JIRA On Demand, please let me know.
Here's some sample code
We have JIRA Enhancer Plugin, which provides handy fields like: Time Between (two statuses), First Response Time, etc.
