Avoid the use of micro instances for Jira server in AWS

We do not recommend our user to use the Micro instances in Amazon EC2 AWS:
Problem
This is because the instance is too small to run JIRA applications. There are some limitation and latency problem due to the size of that instance. We normally do not encourage hosting JIRA applications in virtual machines due to performance issues when the instance grow bigger. But this is mitigated if you have very few users (~10).
Suggestion
- Use a higher AWS tier other than Micro, such as M3 or C3.
- Go for Atlassian Cloud service, which is our cloud hosting service. We will be able to help you to handle everything, even the database side.
