Can't add Flag to issues in service project

Summary
When attempting to flag an issue in service project, you may encounter the following error message:
We couldn't flag this issue
Check your connection and try adding the flag again.
Environment
Jira Service Management Cloud
Solution
It's important to note that flagging issues is not directly supported in Jira Service Management, we are tracking this in the following Suggestion Request: Have the ability to "Add Flag" and "Remove Flag" from "..." menu
However, we can achieve this through the Command palette.
To successfully flag an issue, the user must have an active Jira Software license.
