Symptoms

Column order when exporting a filter search, for example to Excel format, does not match results.

Diagnosis

1. Create a filter with a custom field of columns.
2. Export the "Current Fields" to Excel and the right fields are shown.
3. Edit the filter WITHOUT saving (i.e. the red notice is on the left hand side)
4. Export the Current Fields to Excel again and the user default fields are shown in the list.

Cause

If a saved filter search is modified before exporting the results, the column order will will revert to default.

Workaround

Re-save the filter before exporting
