Summary

When a user is trying to link the Confluence page to a ticket, Jira will search the recently viewed pages and suggest a list of only these pages. Searching with text matching the title name of a page that is not recently viewed, does not show in the suggestion.

Solution

To use a partial word search you need to add the asterisk "*" symbol at the end of the word:

  • For example, there is a Page with the title "automation-test-1 desc".
  • This page does not appear in the Recently Visited drop-down.

  • If we type, "test*",  the search should show the automation-test-1 desc page and all the pages containing the keyword "test" within the space.
