How to disable the Clone Issue option in Jira

This article provides a way to disable the Clone issue feature in Jira for all users.
Environment
All Jira versions.
Solution
To disable the Clone Issue option, please do the following:
- With a Jira administrator user, navigate to Jira Administration (⚙) > Manage apps > in the drop-down list, change the filter from User-installed to All apps
- Search for the Issue Operations Plugin
- Expand the modules list
- Find View Issue Ops Bar Clone Link and Disable it.
This change is effective immediately and affects all projects and all users.
