Summary

This article provides a way to disable the Clone issue feature in Jira for all users.


Environment

All Jira versions.


Solution

To disable the Clone Issue option, please do the following:

  • With a Jira administrator user, navigate to Jira Administration (⚙) > Manage apps > in the drop-down list, change the filter from User-installed to All apps
  • Search for the Issue Operations Plugin
  • Expand the modules list
  •  Find View Issue Ops Bar Clone Link and Disable it.
