How to Re-Send Invitation Emails for New JIRA Users
An end user accidentally deleted or never received the invitation email that new JIRA users get when they are created. Similarly, the invitation email expired and the user needs a new invite sent to them, however the administrator cannot find any option in User Management to re-send the invitation email for that user.
There is a Feature Request present to allow for this behaviour natively in JIRA:
- The end user can go to https://HOSTNAME.atlassian.net and click on the 'Unable to access your account?' option.
- Enter the username or email associated with the account.
Alternatively, the administrator can Change the User's Password to temporary password or delete and re-create the user so the invite goes out again.
