How to remove "Learn more about" section from customer portal

Summary

In some customer portals, a Learn more about section is displayed on the portal landing page which lists some articles. In some scenarios, user does not want this to be displayed on their portal and would like to remove it:

Environment

Jira Service Management Cloud

Solution:

Learn more about section is displayed in the customer portal of the service project where you have a linked knowledge base and have configured a Knowledge Base Category.

You can locate it by going to your Service project > Knowledge Base > Categories:

To remove the "Learn more about" section from the customer portal, you have to delete the Knowledge Base category.

To delete a knowledge base article category:

  1. From your service project, go to Knowledge Base.

  2. Select the category you want to delete from the Categories list shown in the main navigation sidebar.

  3. Select ••• > Delete category.
