How to restrict access to Knowledge Base for certain customers

Purpose
This article is proposed to teach JIRA Admins on how to restrict access to knowledge base articles to a certain key group of customers or individuals.
Solution
If the customers are already invited to the instance, migrate them to Atlassian Accounts by accessing the URL below and jump to step 5. Learn how to migrate customers here.

- If they are not invited yet, add the customers using the configurations below:
- Remove all the default application accesses from your site
Invite the customers to Atlassian account without any application access
Create a group to manage the articles view permissions
Add the new customer's accounts to the new group
Go to confluence and restrict the page to that group

After setting the page restriction, the articles will be restricted to the group of customers in the customer portal.
