Platform Notice: Cloud - This article applies to Atlassian products on the cloud platform.

Summary

Jira and Jira Service Management DMARC settings are managed separately.

JIRA -  DMARC settings

You must be a Jira site admin to manage DMARC settings. To enable or disable DMARC:

  1. From your top navigation, go to Settings () > System > Incoming Mail

  2. Under DMARC incoming email authentication select Enable or Disable.

This setting only applies to Jira projects using the default email account.

Jira Service Management -  DMARC settings

You must be a Jira site admin to manage DMARC settings. To enable or disable DMARC:

  1. From your top navigation, go to Settings () > Products > Jira Service Management > Email requests.

  2. Under DMARC incoming email authentication select Enable or Disable.

DMARC will override allowlists. If DMARC is enabled and an email from someone on an allowlist fails a DMARC check, their email will be blocked.
