  1. Make sure the system times are the same between the servers if JIRA and Confluence are on different machines.
  2. If system times are not the problem, then check the network latency.
  3. If network latency cannot be be addressed, increase the timeout value via Administration >> System >> Trusted Applications in JIRA.
