Different approaches in sharing service project issues and the differences between the approaches.

Resolution

  • Approach 1:

Share the service project issue via customer portal or adding the user as request participant from JIRA application:



 

User will receive an email with the URL link to access the issue via customer portal.

  • Approach 2:

Share the service project issue by emailing other users from JIRA application:

User will receive the email with the URL link to access the issue via JIRA applicationUsers accessing the issue via Jira application have to be service project agents and has permission to browse the issue. So the second approach is limited to sharing between service project agents.
