JIRA Setup Wizard Fails with Errors on Licence Key Setup Page
Symptoms
Users may get stuck on the Specify Your Licence Key page in the Setup Wizard of a new installation of JIRA (5.2.11 and above). Some of the reported errors include:
- Selecting a radio button not updating the page
- CSS appearing broken on the page
- Javascript errors on the page
Workaround
Some users have had success with the following:
- Refreshing the internet browser page
- Clearing internet browser cache
- Rerunning the setup wizard in another internet browser (see Running the Setup Wizard)
- Restarting JIRA (in some cases, multiple times)
