Prevent a set of users from editing the ‘Issue Type’ of an issue in Team-managed projects.

Scenario

Users with "Move any issue" permissions can change the issue Type from an issue in Team-managed projects.

Solution

In order to prevent a set of users from changing the issue type, you need to remove "move any issue" permission from them.

You can do so by creating a separate role for them in your project by following the below steps:

• Go to Project Settings
• Access
• Manage Roles
• Create Role.

Grant other permissions you'd like for them to have, making sure "Move any issue" is disabled.
